I have promised myself a 5 beach (Kilfarassy, Annestown, Kilmurrin, Bunmahon and Ballydowane) beach comb tomorrow come storms and high water, both of which are forecast due to storm Eva and a full moon.

ReplyDeleteThe pelvis you found is from a Sulidae bird, such as a gannet. It looks like a wonderful match for the northern gannet pelvis seen here:

Which is more rectangular than a heron pelvis, see here:
